EDUC 475 - Student Teaching Pre-K Through 3rd Grade

This field-based, full-semester, clinical experience, supervised by the Department of Education, is done in cooperation with area school systems. Students are placed in a Pre-K through 3rd grade classroom for a full semester’s clinical experience in order to develop and demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to teach. Completion of elementary methods coursework and admission to the student teaching program are required.
