PHYS 122 - General Physics II A continuation of PHYS 121 . The course is calculus-based with an accompanying laboratory. It is designed for students desiring professional careers in science. The course provides a rigorous introduction to the following topics: 1) electricity and magnetism, 2) geometric optics, 3) physical optics and waves, 4) modern physics. Students may take MATH 132 either prior to enrollment in or concurrently with the class.
