NSCI 312 - Functional Neuroanatomy


This course offers an in-depth exploration of the structure and function of the vertebrate nervous system. After a review of neuroanatomy principles and the organization of the central and peripheral nervous systems, students will explore the anatomical and functional bases of sensory systems, motor control, memory, reward, and emotion. This course will use clinical cases in order to emphasize how the fundamental neuroanatomy principles relate to human nervous system function in health and disease.
