SWK 312B - Human Behavior and Social Environment II


This is a continuation of SWK 312A  that includes the exploration, discussion, and application of theories related to biopsychosocial development throughout the life span, focusing on early, middle, and later adulthood; Cross-cutting dimensions of development are also covered, including race and ethnicity, sex and gender, and sexuality. Special attention will be given to interactions with and between individuals and social systems as they relate to social work practice with a variety of populations, including those experiencing ethnic, racial, gender-based, sexual, and age-based discrimination.
