NURS 488 - Nursing Internship

This internship, supervised by the Department of Nursing, is done in cooperation with a health care agency. Students will select an area of clinical interest to apply previously acquired knowledge and to develop competencies and skills necessary for the roles of the professional nurse in the provision of evidence-based care. The student will have a minimum of 120 hours of clinical experience while being mentored by a professional nurse. This half-semester course meets both first half and last half of each semester.
