NURS 345 - Pediatric Nursing Theory and Practicum This course provides an opportunity to integrate concepts of evidence-based pediatric nursing care for the neonate through the adolescent, across cultures. Emphasis will be placed on utilizing a variety of nursing roles in the provision of care to promote or restore optimal health. This course is a combination of theory and practicum experiences. This course meets both first and second half of each semester. Theory, 14 hours; practicum, 84 hours per rotation for a half semester. NURS 310 and NURS 320 may be taken either prior to enrollment in or concurrently with the class. Completion of one theory and practicum course is required prior to this course.
