NURS 310 - Special Topics in Professional Nursing This course will explore topics common within professional nursing practice including lab/diagnostic testing, care of patients with chronic illnesses, inter-professional collaboration, end of life care, and care of patients with addictive disorders. Topics will be examined with a focus on the provision of care for individuals across the lifespan and across cultures. This course will analyze the professional nursing roles performed in the provision of evidence-based care within the context of the Christian faith. Students may take NURS 222 , NURS 242 , NURS 320 , KIN 208 and PSY 230 either prior to enrollment in or concurrently with the class.
