The neuroscience minor program at Hope College is founded on one of its greatest strengths: its research program. Our program promotes the process of discovery and inquiry-based learning. The minor consists of a total of 21 credit hours, combining three core neuroscience courses with flagged courses from multiple disciplines. We strongly encourage you to make this minor your own.
Students with majors outside of psychology should consider taking PSY 100 . This class will prepare them for the upper-level electives in the psychology department, and will count toward the Anchor Plan Social Sciences requirement.
Students with majors outside of biology, who want to take an elective in biology, are encouraged to take BIOL 221 /BIOL 221L .
The minor consists of 21 credits, including 13 credits of electives. Only 6 credits may double-count for the minor and the student’s major.
