The French major helps students develop advanced levels of proficiency in the language and advanced levels of cultural competency in the French and Francophone worlds. Courses include language and culture courses, as well as interdisciplinary courses in history, literature, and linguistics, among others.
The French major consists of 30 credits:
Students may count up to 12 credits from study abroad programs toward their French major.
