Women’s and Gender Studies, BA

The Women’s and Gender Studies major consists of 30 credits. This includes 5 core WGS courses (3 credits each; total of 15 credits), one civic engagement course (3 credits), and four elective courses (3 credits each; total of 12 credits). At least one elective must be taken within the Social Sciences and at least one within the Arts and Humanities. The remaining two elective courses may be selected from either category. Additional elective courses may be available based on new course offerings. Check with the Women’s and Gender Studies Program Director for more information.
