Global Health offers a major with four concentration options, and a minor.
Global Health majors will:
- Demonstrate knowledge of social, economic, cultural, and political contributors to the physical, natural, and sociocultural systems related to individual and population health worldwide
- Develop intellectual, evidence-based, cost-effective, and sustainable practical skills to pursue solutions by employing multiple disciplinary and knowledge frameworks, recognizing the role of history, religion, philosophy, and culture in developing health access, delivery, and solutions as it relates to individual and population health
- Analyze personal and social responsibility in the development of care related to individual and population health around the world
- Apply an interdisciplinary or interprofessional lens to a practical experience in individual or population health within the context of the historic Christian faith
Global Health minors will:
