SWK 240M - Leading with Courage and Compassion

This foundational course is intended to strengthen skills of courage and compassion at three levels: 1) within oneself, 2) in relationship with others, and 3) in the learning community as a whole. Students are invited to explore their habitual reactions and patterns that may be getting in the way of their ability to learn, listen and grow in community, and practice positive ways of communicating. Drawing from neurobiology, cognitive science, non-violent communication and restorative justice, course content is intended to invite self-reflection, self-responsibility, and skill-building.
