PHIL 246 - Medical Ethics

This course explores ethical issues that arise within the field of medicine. Topics will include some of the following: the role of healthcare professionals, the goals of medicine, ethical treatment of research subjects, allocation of scarce resources, emerging medical technologies, and end-of-life care.
