NURS 420 - Population Health Nursing Theory This course provides an opportunity to evaluate concepts of evidence-based and population-based community health care across cultures. An emphasis will be placed on utilizing a variety of nursing roles to improve the health of a community, with a priority on health promotion, disease prevention, and health protection. This course meets both first and last half of each semester. Theory, 14 hours. Completion of two theory and practicum courses is required prior to this course. Students may take NURS 315 either prior to enrollment in or concurrently with the class.
