NURS 310 - Nursing Care Across the Lifespan I

This course will explore topics common within professional nursing practice including lab/diagnostic testing, genetics, care of patients with chronic illnesses, interprofessional collaboration, group process and family theories. Topics will be examined with a focus on the provision of care for individuals across the lifespan and across cultures. This course will analyze the professional nursing roles performed in the provision of evidence-based care within the context of the Christian faith. Students may take NURS 232, NURS 320, KIN 208 and PSY 230 either prior to enrollment in or concurrently with the class.
