ECON 201V - Economic and Business Issues in Europe Exploring “economic ways of thinking” as they apply to the European Union. The course is designed to fulfill the objectives of the Social Science Anchor Plan requirement. Students will learn about important thinkers in economics and business, will be introduced to the methods of economics and business, and the ways in which the disciplines of economics and business understand human social, cultural, and institutional behaviors. They will learn about theories that inform business and economics, and will learn to interpret qualitative and quantitative data from empirical economics and business research. The course will focus on the European context in the post-World War II period.
