CSCI 115 - Introduction to Programming with Python This course will serve as an introduction to the techniques and practices of programming using the Python language, including working within an integrative development environment (IDE) to develop and debug programs. It will facilitate the development of a foundation for computer programming upon which students can build in subsequent computer science courses as well as courses in other disciplines which require the knowledge and application of computer programming. Students will learn to read and modify existing programs as well as write simple programs of their own. While the focus is on the Python language, the concepts and techniques are applicable to many programming languages. Students who have credit for CSCI 235 may not take this course.
