BUS 351 - Organizational Behavior

This course will provide an introduction to the field of organizational behavior (“OB”). OB examines how individuals, groups, and structure impact behavior within an organization. Specifically, it focuses on how both individual differences (e.g., personality, values) and the environment (e.g., culture, leadership style, type of group) motivate and constrain individual behavior in an organization such as motivation and commitment. An understanding of OB can help to build organizations that better support employees, build commitment and improve performance just to name a few.
