PHIL 350 - Medieval Philosophy A study of key figures and concepts in Medieval Philosophy. Topics will include some of the following: the nature of God, the nature of free will, faith and reason, the nature of time and space, and the nature of creation. Figures will include some of: Augustine, Boethius, Anselm, Aquinas, Scotus, Ockham, as well as figures outside the Christian West such as Ibn Sina, Al Ghazali, and Maimonides. Completion of a 200-level philosophical perspectives course is highly recommended prior to this course.
