NURS 345 - Pediatric Nursing Theory

This course provides an opportunity to integrate concepts of evidence-based pediatric nursing care for the neonate through the adolescent, across cultures. Emphasis will be placed on utilizing a variety of nursing roles in the provision of care to promote or restore optimal health. This course meets both first and last half of each semester. Theory, 14 hours. NURS 310 and NURS 320 may be taken either prior to enrollment in or concurrently with the class. Completion of one theory and practicum course is required prior to this course.
