NURS 335 - Maternity and Women’s Health Nursing Theory This course provides an opportunity to integrate concepts of evidence-based maternity and women’s health nursing care for the woman from menarche through post-menopause, including care of the perioperative patient. Emphasis will be placed on utilizing a variety of nursing roles in the provision of care to promote or restore optimal health in the child-bearing family across cultures. This course meets both first and last half of each semester. Theory, 14 hours. Students may take NURS 232 and NURS 310 either prior to enrollment in or concurrently with the class.
