ECON 402 - Industrial Organization/Economics of Strategy A theoretical and empirical study of how the organization of markets affects the conduct and performance of firms in those markets. Topics include the determinants of market structure; the impact of market power on pricing, product differentiation, technological change; and managerial strategy. Several specific U.S. industries will be studied, and a strategic analysis of an industry will be performed.
