DAN 221 - Anatomical Kinesiology

An introduction to the field of dance science for dance students. Emphasis is placed on anatomical analysis, anatomy, bones and muscular structures, and injury prevention, with special attention given to the application of this information to dance technique class, functional alignment, and proper muscular engagement in movement.
