PHYS 122 - General Physics II A continuation of PHYS 121 . The course is calculus-based with an accompanying laboratory. It is designed for students desiring professional careers in science. The course provides a rigorous introduction to the following topics: 1) electricity and magnetism, 2) geometric optics, 3) physical optics and waves, 4) atomic and nuclear physics. Students may take MATH 132 either prior to enrollment in or concurrently with the class.
