KIN 498 - Athletic Training Practicum IV This course provides students with the opportunity to develop competence in a variety of mid-level and advanced athletic training skills. Specific skills to be developed include, but are not limited to, facility design and management, human resources, finance and budgeting. Senior case presentations and the completion of a rehabilitation case from beginning to end will occur. Students will prepare for the Board of Certification examination. Students may be assigned supervised clinical experiences as athletic training students for an individual or team sport clinical experience or will be assigned to one or more off-campus clinical affiliations. Students at this level will develop instructional skills by acting as peer-helpers for level I, II, and III students. Clinical experiences are accompanied by a one-hour seminar each week.
