GERM 311 - The German Speaking World The cultural focus for this course is Germany as a social state, Austria, Switzerland and a brief survey of German cultural history. The course is designed to provide students extensive practice with real-world German, and form an introduction to more formal cultural concepts to prepare students for study abroad and further study of German at the upper-division level. Conducted in German. GERM 202 is highly recommended prior to this course.
