ENGS 360 - Geotechnical Engineering This course examines the fundamental topics of geotechnical engineering. Topics include soil classification methods, soil compaction, flow of water in soils, compressibility and consolidation, settlement, shear strength and failure, and applications to foundations. ENGS 222 may be taken either prior to enrollment in or concurrently with the class.
