ENGS 340 - Applied Thermodynamics Thermodynamics is the study of energy and its conversion among various forms, particularly heat and work. Laws of thermodynamics are presented in the context of mass and energy conservation using properties such as internal energy, enthalpy, and entropy. These concepts are then applied to a variety of processes including cyclic processes used for power generation and refrigeration.
