DAN 310 - Dance Pedagogy I: Creative Dance for Children

This course provides an introduction to creative movement for children from preschool through sixth grade with emphasis on working with children to develop creativity and dance vocabulary. Students will be exposed to practical and developmentally appropriate teaching methods to support the teaching and learning of children. Two credits in dance technique is highly recommended prior to this course.
