CHEM 311 - Biochemistry I The biochemistry of proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, enzymes and coenzymes is discussed with an emphasis on the structure/function properties of biomolecules. BIOL 106 or equivalent is highly recommended prior to this course. Lecture, 3 hours per week; discussion session, 1 hour per week.
