BIOL 208 - Honors Laboratory in Cells and Genetics II This research based laboratory course is the second part of a two-semester introductory biology laboratory sequence. The full-year course covers basic techniques in microbiology, molecular biology, genetics, evolutionary biology and computer based bioinformatics analysis of viral genomes through the exploration of Mycobacteriophage diversity. In this second semester, students will focus on various topics in bioinformatics, comparative genomics, and evolutionary biology. Two 2-hour computer laboratory session per week.
