ART 115 - Basic Sculpture An introduction to the expansive field of sculpture. While learning fundamental skills including woodworking, material exploration, assemblage, object investigation and casting, students will simultaneously learn about the history of sculpture and the formal and conceptual elements that surround contemporary practices. The class is composed of a combination of projects, exercises, studio time, research, lectures, and critiques. Required for studio majors.
