Global Health, Policy and Ethics Concentration, BA

How do we conceptualize global health needs and construct health policies as informed by basic human rights, morality, social and political responsibility, and justice? Students will pair philosophical thinking with practical action as they learn to embrace the core values of global health work.

The major in Global Health with a concentration in Policy and Ethics requires 34 overall credits: 22 credits of core courses, 3 credits of cultural competence, and 9 credits of concentration courses. Courses cannot double-count within the core/cultural competence and the concentration.
