BIOL 207 - Phage Discovery and Genomics I This research-based laboratory course is the first part of a two-semester introductory biology laboratory sequence. The full-year course covers basic techniques in microbiology, molecular biology, genetics, evolutionary biology and computer-based bioinformatics analysis of viral genomes through the exploration of Mycobacteriophage diversity. In this first semester, students will focus on various wet laboratory skills in microbiology, molecular biology and genetics. Enrollment requires completion of a Day1 program application specific for this course.
