Visual Arts Education K-12, BA

In partnership with the Hope College Education Department, the Art and Art History Department offers a K-12 visual arts teaching major for certification through the Michigan Department of Education. The major consists of 51 credits.

In addition, students must also declare one of the 44-credit secondary education teaching majors: Secondary Education, 5-9 Gr, 7-12 Gr, BA  (for a middle school focus) or Secondary Education, 7-12 Gr, 5-9 Gr, BA  (for a high school focus).
