Sociology, Criminal Justice Emphasis, BA

Sociology majors may elect to graduate with a Criminal Justice (CJ) emphasis. This program is intended for students preparing for careers in law enforcement, the criminal justice system and related occupations. It is offered in conjunction with The Chicago Semester.

The sociology-criminal justice major consists of 30 credits, which includes coursework completed through The Chicago Semester off-campus study program. Statistics is also required, but does not count toward the 30 credits.
