Neuroscience Minor

The neuroscience minor combines core neuroscience courses with electives from multiple disciplines, allowing the student to tailor their own specialized program to match their interests.

Students with majors outside of psychology should consider taking PSY 100 . This class will prepare them for the upper-level electives in the psychology department, and will count toward the Anchor Plan Social Sciences requirement.

Students with majors outside of biology, who want to take an elective in biology, are encouraged to take BIOL 221 /BIOL 221L .

The minor consists of 20 hours of coursework, including 9 credits of electives. Only 6 credits may double-count for the minor and the student’s major.
