Art Studio, BA

Studio art majors must present a comprehensive portfolio for a junior year review by the faculty. This must be passed in order to continue in the program. Participation in the Graduating Senior Art Exhibition is required in the spring semester of the senior year. The expected ratio of the studio students’ clock hour involvement, in class and/or outside of class, to each credit is three clock hours of work per week to one credit.

The studio art major consists of 45 credits. ART 242  may not count toward both an art studio major and an art history major or minor.
