Mathematics, Statistics Concentration, B.S.

The requirement for a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics with a statistics concentration is a plan of study designed in consultation with a departmental advisor. It includes a total of 60 credits of courses from the Natural and Applied Science division of which at least 39 credits must be in mathematics as follows.

Requirements

Additional credits chosen from the following courses:

MATH 126 - Calculus with Review II Credits: 4
MATH 131 - Calculus I Credits: 4
MATH 132 - Calculus II Credits: 4
MATH 231 - Multivariable Mathematics I Credits: 4
MATH 232 - Multivariable Mathematics II Credits: 4
and all courses numbered above 300 except 323 and 324
No more than 16 credits from courses numbered 232 and lower shall be counted towards the 34 required credits

Statistics Concentration

A Statistics Concentration will include MATH 311, 312, 365 and either MATH 313 or 362 as part of the 39 required mathematics credits.
