Global Health, Healthy Communities Concentration, B.A.

The Global Health major builds on the foundations of the minor. Students develop a further understanding of health by specializing in an interdisciplinary perspective on global health. Students have opportunities to apply their understanding and skills to practice global and public health problems through experiential learning. Through this experience, as well as coursework, students learn to analyze personal and social responsibility with regard to individual and population health.

The major in Global Health with a concentration in Healthy Communities requires 46 overall credits: 34 credits of core courses, plus 12 credits of concentration-focused courses.
