MATH 314 - Machine Learning with Large Datasets This course introduces the mathematical and computational foundations of training and analyzing machine learning models on large data sets. Topics include gradient-based optimization, regression and classification, neural networks, and natural language processing. Students gain hands-on experience applying modern machine learning methods to real-world data such as images and text.

Prerequisites: MATH 132 with a grade of C- or better; MATH 313 or CSCI 115 or CSCI 125 or ENGS 210 with a grade of C- or better
