EDUC 307 - Cultural and Physical Geography for Educators


This course introduces core concepts, terms, and tools of cultural and physical geography. It examines the characteristics of landmasses and the physical processes that shape the Earth’s surface, including the atmosphere, biosphere, hydrosphere, and lithosphere. The course also explores how human cultures interact with geographical and climatic factors, analyzing the relationship between humans and their environment and the nature and complexity of cultural patterns. Students learn to use maps, globes, and other geographic tools and technologies to interpret both cultural and physical geography.
