PHYS 141 - Physics Laboratory I


The laboratory is designed to accompany PHYS 105  and PHYS 121 . Basic laboratory skills are developed. The use of modern instrumentation in physical measurements is explored. Students gain experience in using computers to analyze scientific measurements. Topics covered include forces, conservation of momentum, conservation of energy, oscillation systems, and rotational motion. A major goal of the course is to develop skills in the measurements of physical phenomena.
