ENGS 380 - Research Methods in Biomedical Engineering This course introduces students to the techniques for acquisition and processing of biological signals. Example topics include electromyography (EMG), electroencephalography (EEG), electrocardiography (ECG), joint angles, biofeedback, gait analysis and motor control. During the last third of the semester, a novel research project is proposed and carried out, culminating in a final paper modeled after scientific articles.
Credits: 1 Terms Offered: Fall, Odd Years Prerequisites: ENGS 210 with a grade of C- or better Corequisites: ENGS 380L
