CLAS 217 - Race and Ethnicity in Classical Antiquity An examination of ancient Greek and Roman theories and expressions of race, ethnicity, and identity and their later receptions in European history. Students will learn to select and interpret a variety of historical sources (predominantly literary, some artistic and archaeological), and to construct a clear argument supported by evidence. Cross-listed with HIST 217 .
