CLAS 120 - Introduction to World History to 1500 This introductory world history course surveys developments in global history from prehistory until about 1500. The course focuses on regional, inter-regional, and global interactions from the beginning of written history to the European crossing of the Atlantic. It will introduce students to the study of history, using a variety of primary and secondary sources to analyze and understand change over time. Students will learn to construct historical arguments and support them with appropriate evidence. Cross-listed with HIST 120 .
