REL 124 - Christ and Caesar: How Jesus Conquered the Romans

This course examines the origin and spread of Christianity. It begins with Jesus’ first century historical setting and continues through the fourth century when Christianity became the only legal religion of the Roman Empire. Relevant ancient texts (Jewish, Christian, and Greco-Roman) will be the basis for this course’s examination.
