REL 368 - Christianity and Science


This course explores the interaction of Christianity and science in Christian theology, history, and interpretation of scripture. In particular, the course considers science and faith as forms of human knowing and asks how these two types of knowledge operate and how they relate to one another. Topics to be considered will include the origin of the cosmos, evolution of life, interpretation of Genesis, Galileo, miracles, the ethics of technology, and more.
