PSY 100 - Introduction to Psychology


An introduction to the science of behavior and mental processes, ranging from biological foundations to social and cultural influences on behavior (introducing most of the content areas covered in other psychology courses, including neuroscience, development, cognitive, social, and behavior disorders). Research methods will be infused throughout the class in order for students to use empirical data to solve problems, make informed decisions, and incorporate diverse perspectives to examine fundamental questions about how humans think and behave.
