ENGS 241 - Circuit Analysis and Applications This course provides an introduction to analysis and design of DC and AC circuits including time domain and sinusoidal steady-state analysis of RLC circuits. Diodes are introduced and utilized in nonlinear circuit applications. Transistors are studied for applications as amplifiers and switches. Operational amplifiers and circuit applications are introduced and analyzed. A laboratory is included that will give students the opportunity to apply methods and test out the material learned in lecture. Composition of formal technical laboratory reports will be introduced and practiced.
